Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fiber is one of the three high-tech fibers (carbon fiber, aramid, and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber) in the world today. It is the preferred material for aerospace, armor, and bulletproof, and an essential strategic material for modern national defense. Due to its excellent properties such as high strength, high modulus, high cutting resistance, and low density, it is widely used in many fields such as national defense and military equipment, aerospace composite materials, ocean going vessels, naval ship ropes, deep-sea ropes, construction engineering reinforcement, bulletproof vests and anti cutting clothing, anti cutting gloves, home textiles, fishing lines, lightweight automotive bodies, sports equipment, etc.
With the continuous expansion of the application field in the ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber industry, the demand for high-performance fibers in the global market continues to increase. In recent years, Xingyu Chengyang New Materials has focused on the production and research of high-end fiber materials, continuously breaking through technological bottlenecks, overcoming technological barriers, and providing customers with medium and high-end ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers and high-end ADAMAS diamond yarn. The first phase of the project has achieved full production and sales.
At present, the Phase II project of Xingyu Chengyang New Materials ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber is under construction. The expanded Phase II project will be put into use gradually in the second half of this year. After all are put into operation, it can achieve an annual production of 6000 tons of ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber, and it is expected that the annual sales of PE fiber alone will exceed 700 million yuan.
